A colloquium-concert in tribute to Joan Guinjoan will take place on December 14, 2023 at 7 p.m. at the French Institute of Barcelona. Admission is free, prior registration on the Institute's website.
The Institut Français de Barcelona and the Joan Guinjoan Foundation are organising a tribute event on 14/12/2023 at 7 p.m. in the Institute's Auditorium.
The first part of the event will consist of a colloquium on the figure of Joan Guinjoan and his role as a disseminator, performer and composer of contemporary music, with the participation of Josep María Escribano, Ernest Martínez Izquierdo, Emili Brugalla and the composer's own son.
To close the event, the works of Joan Guinjoan GI79 will be performed by the Ensemble de la ESMUC conducted by Ernest Martínez Izquierdo and two pieces from the work for two pianos "Flamenco" by the piano-duo Emili Brugalla, Vesko Stambolov.
