Past 02-12-2023 at 19h in the framework of the in the XLIV International Meeting of Composers the pianist Pilar López-Carrasco performed Jondo in the Piano Room of the ACA Foundation (Búger, Mallorca)  together with works by Schonberg, Boulez, Messiaen and the absolute premieres of Raquel Quiaro and Marc Vidal.

Born in Manresa, she studied at the Conservatorio del Liceo de Barcelona (Honorary Prize) and at the Franz Liszt Academy in Budapest. First Prize in the XI edition of the International Piano Competition "Xavier Montsalvatge". Awarded a scholarship by the "Oms y de Prat" Prize and also by the Hungarian Government to extend her studies in Hungary.
Her presence as a soloist has been requested by numerous festivals such as: "Festival de Música y Danza de Granada", "Decimoquinta Musical de San Sebastián", "Matinées" du piano de Orleáns, Festival Internacional de Música de Santander, Auditorio de Barcelona ("Grec" 2000), Festival de Perelada, Ljubljana... and in many festivals specialized in contemporary music.
For many years he has received advice from the maestro Jean-Pierre Dupuy. He has recorded for Ràdio France, Ràdio Slovenija, RNE, TV Alhambra, Catalunya Música... and has also premiered works by Spanish and foreign composers, to great critical acclaim.
