On March 02, 2024 the piano-duo Emili Brugalla and Vesko Stambolov offered the program "Sons Ibèrics" where they performed Flamenco (1994) by Joan Guinjoan. The concert, organized by the Joan Manén Association, took place at the Conservatori Superior de Música del Liceu and included works from the 18th, 19th and 20th centuries by several Catalan composers.
A colloquium-concert in tribute to Joan Guinjoan will take place on December 14, 2023 at 7 p.m. at the French Institute of Barcelona. Admission is free, prior registration on the Institute's website.
Past 02-12-2023 at 19h and in the Piano Room of the ACA Foundation (Búger, Mallorca) the pianist Pilar López-Carrasco performed "Jondo" together with works by Schonberg, Boulez, Messiaen and the absolute premieres of Raquel Quiaro and Marc Vidal.
