The Joan Guinjoan Foundation has decided to publish today the third article (in spanish) of the project “Remembering Guinjoan” by Juan Ángel Vela del Campo, on the fourth year since my father passed-away.
Juan Ángel Vela del Campo (Bilbao, 1947) has collaborated as a music commentator in the newspaper El País from 1989 to 2015, and for two decades in Cadena Ser. Director of the 8-volume “Historia de la Música en España en Hispanoamérica” (Fondo de Cultura Económica), he was awarded the Salzburg Cultural Fund’s Critics’ Prize in 1999 for his review of the premiere of an opera by Luciano Berio.
